Only lived in the area since November 2011 so didn�t really know anyone to ask if they could recommend a company, so I did some research on the internet and came across Seaforth. After reading the reviews I decided to ring up for a quote, and I�m glad I did! Alan is great, very professional, friendly and honest. He came out showed us the windows then got back to us the same day with a price and a fitting date if we went ahead. The fitters are excellent clean, tidy, polite and friendly. They fitted 3 very large windows into 1 room of our house (it used to be a shop) in a day & a half. There was very little mess to clean up when they were finished. The neighbours have already commented on what a difference the new windows make to the look of the house.
Would highly recommend, great advice, price, product and workmanship!!

Hadn�t really considered new windows, but knew that some of the wooden ones were rotten as they were 30 years old. Answered a no obligation email as you doPromptly ponced on and subsequently suffered the "Weather**** Ordeal! " 1/2 hours ofmind-numbing sales bull**** using every trick Alan outlines in his website expose! From £19K to just over £5K!!! Do me a favour!!
Then Seaforth phoned about a week later! Arranged a visit and suddenly not all D.G salespeop;e didn�yt rank alongside the worst of Used Car Salesmen! Alan gives you a straight price ; take it or leave it. He advises and a meeting is NOT an ordeal. He measures and phones back with the price. If you are interested, David and Stewart come along and measure again before anything else is done.
Once the contract is agreed, we were kept updated as to fitting etc, and when the day came, lo & behold, the weather deteriorated. During the three days, weather was changeable; freezing, snow, gales, rain; everything bar sunshine!David & Stewart carried on regardless, cheery, helpful & fastidious!
Upon completion, we were delighted, and it only took three days despite the weather and short daylight hours. Mess was minimal and they cleaned up as they went. Alan phoned each evening to enquire as to progress and ask if we were happy.
Nine windows, triple glazed and with energy glass for over £1k less than nearest other quote.
Could we have asked for better? I think not, and we notice a definite improvement in the comfort. Superb

We have just spent 2½ days with Stewart and David putting in our new windows and doors. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. Two very professional, local tradesmen who work with Alan the owner of the company.
From the research we did before purchase there seems to be no industry that has so much “bull poo” attached to it.
Alan, on the other hand, is down to earth in his attitude so basically what you see is what you get. He will tell you what he can or cannot do quite plainly without the “slagging” of his competitors.
The well know “household names” appear to offer ridiculous discounts like quoting £10,200 but after a phone call it is suddenly down to £5,000 – if you sign up on the day.
Well done and many thanks guys! You did an excellent job.

Anyone looking for new windows and doors ect, please don�t bother looking anywhere else but sea forth windows and especially don�t even bother with a certain Elgin based company (Alan please feel free to give out my number to anyone who wants to know this companies name) Alan and his team delivered first time every time my whole experience with sea forth has been Exceptional, my only regret was that i didn�t find him first when i needed a new front window and door. Unfortuately i went with a far inferior Elgin based company who�s work, quality, and customer care was down right disgusting ,the owner of that company was rude and aggressive when i dared to complain about the shoddy workmanship and I�m still waiting for my guarantee after 5 months which will mean yet another phone call to trading standards to sort it out. Having lived in our Croft for some 43 years and experiencing the hard winters of 2010 and 2011 we decided that we should upgrade our heating and insulation. We did quite a bit of research into double glazing and requested three quotes from various local firms. Having received a visit from Alan Duncan we decided to choose Seaforth Windows on the basis that he gave an excellent straightforward presentation of the ins and outs of double glazing and provided a competitive quotation for some 10 windows.

The installation was completed in the space of 2 1/2 days without any problems - he has excellent fitters who were very attentive to their work and and the A rated windows using toughened glass are extremely pleasing in their appearance. It should be noted that work on old buildings such as ours requires a degree of expertise as measurements often have to be "massaged" in order for things to fit.

We have no hesitation in recommending Alan and his team at Seaforth Windows to anyone considering the installation of double glazing. In conclusion we would say that one factor we found to be really excellent was that we were telephoned daily during the work in progress to see how it was progressing - it is refreshing these days to find such attention to detail.

We were very impressed with service from start to finish. We�d had a couple of quotes already but once we had seen Alan we agreed we were going to use Seaforth straight away.
The quality of his service and products spoke for themselves, we liked being able to see photos from previous jobs and he had a small frame as an example of what would be used.
The fitters were very professional and quick. Always tidy and let you know exactly what was happening when. Good in a busy household.
